Sweet Pea Books is dedicated to producing multicultural stories that inspire, amuse, and foster a love of reading in all children. Our vibrantly illustrated books reflect images and experiences with which children of color can identify.

Established in 2008, by author/illustrator, Monique Duncan, Sweet Pea Books aims to promote self-acceptance, respect, and forgiveness, as well as encourage the development of good character.
